 Religious Orientation:

Because my father was from a Baptist background and my mother, Roman Catholic, I was baptized as a Lutheran.  That probably sounds a bit strange and it is but that was the compromise my parents made regarding the baptism of their children.  My grandfather, Henry C. Berger, who was Lutheran was my sponsor.

When I was about twenty years of age I under went what could probably be best described as a period of religious struggle.  It seemed to me that all churches claimed to be the "True Way" to God.  This in fact was a misunderstanding but it left me seeking the truth through the Scriptures alone.  After several months of reading the Bible, I realized that what the Scripture actually taught was that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.  He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I have been a member of the following churches during my Christian walk.  Over the course of the years I believe my faith has developed and matured.  These churches were helpful to me along the way.

Walter Reiter SCHOENLY III and Dr. Lorraine CADWELL DNSc were married on 18 Sep 1976 in East Berlin, New Jersey.  

Dr. Lorraine CADWELL DNSc (daughter of Ernest David CADWELL and Joycelyn DeYarmond HYATT) was born on 31 Jul 1956 in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania.  

• She graduated in Jun 1984 in North Central Technical Institute - Wausau, Wisconsin (AAS - Nursing)
• She defended her doctoral dissertation for DNSc at Widner University on 9 Jan 1997 in Chester, PA.
